Game Description
SimAnt was developed by Maxis, the creators of SimCity and The Sims. It was released in 1991 for MS-DOS, Amiga and later SNES and it’s a classic simulation game. Competing against red ants in a dynamic real-time strategy (RTS) and life simulation environment, SimAnt enables players control of black ants. The game permits players to simulate ant behavior, control the colony’s survival and even take over a human’s backyard and home as the game includes three different modes like Quick Game, Full Game and Experimental Mode.
SimAnt remains one of the best classic simulation games for fans of retro gaming, ecology-based simulations and strategy games, with its distinctive mix of strategy, AI- driven behavior and colony management. SimAnt provides an educational yet fun experience, if you are exploring ant AI, insect behavior or looking for classic PC games from the 90s.
